As part of the Crew-5 mission, SpaceX sent 3 astronauts and 1 cosmonaut to the International Space Station (ISS) with a Falcon 9 rocket from Kennedy Space Center in Florida, USA. The team will conduct more than 200 scientific experiments in areas such as human health and lunar fuel systems. The Crew-5 mission is the 6th joint launch between NASA and SpaceX to send a crew into space. The crew of Crew-5 is scheduled to return to Earth in about 5 months.
As part of the Crew-5 mission, a Russian cosmonaut was launched to the ISS with SpaceX for the first time, while Nicole Mann became the first Native American woman to travel into space.
