Speeding Car Runs Red Light in Taiwan, Kills 3 and Injures 13

A speeding vehicle ran a red light in Taipei’s Sanxia District, crashing into motorcycles and pedestrians. Three people, including two students, died and 13 others, including the 78-year-old driver, were injured. The accident, caught on camera, showed the car plowing through the intersection. The driver is in a coma and had not consumed alcohol. Taiwanese leader Lai Ching-te visited the injured in hospitals and pledged to closely monitor the investigation.
