In Bangladesh, protests have erupted following Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina’s resignation and departure from the country. Demonstrators are targeting and destroying statues of Mujibur Rahman, the founding leader of Bangladesh and father of the former prime minister. In the past three days, dozens of statues have been torn down by the angry crowds.
