Storks Nesting at Village Mosque in Türkiye

The Garip village mosque in Bingöl, Türkiye, has become a local attraction due to storks nesting on its premises. Built in 2002, the mosque began hosting storks about a decade later during the spring season. The sight of storks nesting on the mosque’s dome and nearby areas has drawn attention from nature photographers, who capture the beauty of these scenes. Serhat Bürke, a nature photographer, highlighted the natural charm of Garip village and encouraged others to visit and appreciate the storks’ presence.
