Storm Causes Damage in Northern Cyprus

 

A powerful storm hit the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus (TRNC), toppling trees, blowing away roofs, and damaging coastal businesses. Waves reached heights of 2 meters, destroying piers in ports. Power outages affected some areas for up to two hours due to damaged electrical lines.

Despite the extensive material damage, no casualties or injuries were reported.
