Streets and avenues were flooded in different regions of Italy, especially in Tuscany, and parked vehicles were trapped in flood waters. Train services were stopped, and transportation disruptions occurred. Hospitals in the cities of Pisa and Mugello were flooded. The storm also paralyzed life in the south of England due to winds reaching 135 kilometers per hour, and education was suspended in hundreds of schools.
