Storm Harold reached land on Padre Island in the south of Texas, US, affecting the region with heavy rains and strong winds blowing at 80 kilometers per hour. The US National Weather Service said floods might occur and storms might blow away objects in the region. Citizens were warned not to leave their homes.
The storm is expected to advance towards the central parts of the country and the north of Mexico.
