Storm struck Lombardy and Emilia Romagna regions in northern Italy, causing loss of life and property. One person was killed by a toppled wall of a barn due to strong storm. Patients of Fiorenzuola Hospital were evacuated as rooftop of the building was blown off. Several roads were closed to traffic after trees fell on roads and vehicles in the city of Cremona.
Damage assessment is underway in the areas hit by the storm, authorities said.
