Storm Topples Statue of Liberty Replica in Southern Brazil

A storm with strong winds knocked down a 24-meter-tall Statue of Liberty replica in Porto Alegre, in Brazil’s southern state of Rio Grande do Sul. The statue collapsed in the parking lot of a Havan store in the Guaiba district during winds exceeding 80 km/h. No injuries were reported, and authorities sealed off the area as the company launched an investigation.
