stranded cargo ship rescued in Suez Canal

A cargo ship named MV Glory, which ran aground near the city of Qantara in Ismailia province in Egypt’s Suez Canal, one of the most important transit points of world trade, was rescued and the ship traffic was restored.

It was reported that the ship, which was on its way to China with a load of approximately 66 tons of corn from Ukraine’s Chornomorsk Port since 25 December, ran aground due to engine failure.
