The strategically important Antonivka Bridge was displayed after Russia’s withdrawal from the Ukrainian city of Kherson. Russian forces crossed from Kherson to the left bank of the Dnieper River on November 11 due to Ukrainian counterattacks. On the other hand, the river bridge was reportedly blown up by Russian forces in order to prevent Ukrainian forces from crossing the river.
The Antonivka Bridge is the region’s only crossing road from Kherson city center to Crimea.
