Around 1,500 people of various nationalities gathered for a street iftar on Keup Street in Cologne, Germany, a neighborhood with a large Turkish community. Organized by local tradesmen, the annual event emphasized unity and the fight against racism. Keup Street Tradesmen’s Union President Bünyamin Köksoy highlighted the need to stand against discrimination and remembered the victims of the 2004 NSU attack. Representatives from Turkish and German political parties and NGOs attended the event.
