The streets of Cologne, Germany, including Venloer Street, one of the busiest streets of the city, were decorated with special lighting for Ramadan for the first time. The Ramadan Project, the organization that provided the decorations, held a small ceremony, giving messages of solidarity to all.
Rukiye Bektaş, one of the organizers, said that they will also organize open iftar dinners.
