Stubble fire in Muş, Türkiye

A stubble fire occurred in Taşdibek village, which has 70 households and a population of approximately 600, located 7 kilometers away from the Varto district of Türkiye’s Muş province. After authorities were informed by the villagers, many firefighting and gendarmerie teams were sent to the region. The fire was brought under control after rendering approximately 400 hectares of land completely unusable. However, later, the fire spread to three other areas in the village. The teams in the area intervened immediately and extinguished the fire.
