Students protested in the Mexican state of Michoacan, demanding the release of their friends, who were arrested on the grounds that they burned a bus last week. They set fire to 10 vehicles, most of which were trucks, blocked some roads in the cities of Carapan and Paracho with the vehicles they burned.
Michoacan Governor Alfredo Ramirez Bedolla stated that they would not meet the students’ demands and that the three students involved in the bus burning could only be released if the court rules in their favor.
