Numerous people took to the streets to celebrate the results of the 2024 French legislative elections, which brought the New Popular Front left-wing alliance victory.
The New Popular Front alliance consists of La France Insoumise, the Socialist Party, The Ecologists, the French Communist Party, Génération.s, Place Publique, and other centre-left and left-wing political parties.
Following the elections, French Prime Minister Gabriel Attal, who was the prime minister of President Emmanuel Macron’s government, also submitted his resignation.
