Supporters of Sadr break into TV studio in Baghdad

The supporters of the Sadr leader Mukteda es-Sadr broke into a studio of a TV channel in Baghdad, Iraq due to an allegation that the channel insulted the movement. The supporters shouted slogans in front of the AL Rabia because of the allegation that the channel insulted Sadr military army, Mahdi. Despite all the efforts of security forces, the group broke into the studio to damage the equipment belonging to the studio. An army officer was injured during the incident.

The Iraqi Prime Minister Mustafa Al-Kadhimi reprimanded the attack and said that they will be held responsible for the incident.
