South Korean President Yoon Suk Yeol’s supporters staged a rally in front of the Seoul Detention Center, where he was brought after being arrested in the presidential residence yesterday for sedition, in Uiwang-city, Gyeonggi-do, South Korea.
Before being taken to the CIO headquarters in Gwacheon City yesterday, Yoon said he agreed to testify to prevent a possible clash between the PSS and the police but added: “As the head of state who is responsible for protecting the country’s constitution and legal system, complying with illegal and invalid decisions does not mean that I believe the investigation is legitimate. It is merely an effort to prevent violence.”
