Surge in Imported Vehicle Arrivals at Istanbul Port

Aerial footage captured thousands of newly imported vehicles arriving at Haydarpaşa Port in Istanbul, creating intriguing scenes. This influx was linked to Turkey’s ongoing current account deficit. The market saw a surge in prices for second-hand cars, a trend that has gradually declined due to the increased sale of newly imported vehicles. These new cars, arriving by ships from their country of origin, primarily dock at Istanbul’s Haydarpaşa Port and other suitable ports. After being parked and sorted by brand and model, these vehicles are later transported to showrooms for sale.
