Families trying to find their missing relatives in Sednaya Prison, known as the torture center of the Assad regime in Syria, are requesting help from Türkiye to provide the necessary equipment for the search.
“This (Bashar Assad) is a murderer. He destroyed everything; he destroyed people; he destroyed animals; even stones. We demand that US President Donald Trump put the Assad regime and his gang on trial,” said a relative of a prisoner.
“Technology has only been used against the Syrian people. Right now, we are trying to save our children with the means we have. We want to save our people trapped underground with this technology that is destroying us from west to east. These are humans, not animals,” said another Syrian.
“They say forget about these people. This man’s son was a university student. He was detained in Latakia. He doesn’t know where he is. The Assad regime’s men point a different spot every day, only to get money,” said another Syrian.
“We want Türkiye and all countries of the world to provide us with the necessary materials to rescue the people trapped underground,” said another Syrian in Turkish.
