A long-awaited snowfall affected many districts of Istanbul, Türkiye at night. Taksim Square has transformed into a lovely winter scene following the first snowfall of 2023. People on Istiklal Avenue took a lot of photos while enjoying the flaky snow.
Chestnut seller Halit Terazi said: “There is excitement in Taksim, as you can see. It has been a while, and the New Year usually brings snow. It’s late, but it’s wonderful”
