Tens of thousands of people have fled their homes in northern Afghanistan, and families have flowed into Kabul. Families set up tents in streets and parks in capital city Kabul. The Afghan government lost a total of 9 provincial centers in 6 days, with the Taliban forces finally capturing Puli Khumri, the center of the northern Baghlan province, and Feyzabad, the center of the Badakhshan province. Afghans with families and children, whom have no belongings, are now struggling with lack of nutrition and water.
