Tension Rises During Friday Prayers Near Al-Aqsa Mosque

Tension rose outside the Al-Aqsa Mosque, where Palestinians gathered for the first Friday prayers after the Israel-Hamas conflict. Israeli police intervened with tear gas bombs and rubber bullets against Palestinians who were prevented from praying. The use of rubber bullets by Israeli police caused injuries.

There was an age restriction for entering the Al-Aqsa Mosque for prayer.
