Thai PM Flies Plane To Deliver Organs For Transplants

Prime Minister Anutin Charnvirakul personally piloted his private plane to transport donated organs from Loei province to Bangkok as part of the “Winged Heart” transplant program.

The organs — including a heart, liver, pancreas, kidney, and two corneas — are expected to save or improve the lives of seven patients. Anutin, who co-founded the program in 2014, has completed more than 80 such flights over the past decade, helping over 200 patients. He called the donor family’s decision “a great act of kindness.”
