A Royal Thai Police training aircraft crashed into the sea near Hua Hin, killing five officers and seriously injuring one.
The DHC-6 Twin Otter plane went down about 100 meters from shore shortly after takeoff during a parachute training flight. Officials confirmed the victims included pilots, technicians, and an engineer.
Rescue teams recovered the bodies, and a black box was retrieved for investigation. The cause of the crash remains unknown.
