It was first started in Lyon city of France in 1643 to thank and pray to Mother Mary after city spared from plague, than became a tradition later on, the Festival of Lights was started again this year in Lyon on Wednesday. While colorful lights shined on valuable buildings, parks and fountains in the city, a visual feast presented to the audience in the festival attended by hundreds of people. The festival that lights will create eye-catching visuals on the exteriors of the buildings, will be presented to its visitors for 4 days. Despite, it was canceled last year due to COVID-19 pandemic, approximately 1 million visitors expected to attend the festival this year.
