The Prophet Mohammed’s cardigan named Hırka-i Şerif opens to visit at 10:00 am on April 22 in Turkish city of Istanbul after been closed to visitors for 2 years due to the Covid-19 pandemic. While its final preparations have been completed, the Hırka-i Şerif will be opened to visitors at 10:00 am and closed at 06:00 pm. Also it will be open to its visitors until end of the Ramadan. Citizens who will come to visit are expected to follow the Covid-19 mask and distance rules.
“As you know, we have been closed for 2 years due to the Covid-19 pandemic. Nowadays, with the easing of the pandemic and upon high demand, our family has been kindly to relieve the longing for the lovers of the prophet for the last week,” the General Manager of the Hırka-i Şerif Foundation, Sümeyra Güldal said in her statement.
