Spokesman of the Afghan Ministry of Foreign Affairs Gran Hewad stated that, there are misinterpretations regarding the process of ensuring the security of Hamid Karzai International Airport in the capital, Kabul. He said that Turkey’s decisions along with deployment of foreign forces are reported wrongly. He stated that Turkey has always aimed to reach a political solution in Afghanistan through peaceful negotiations and that the purpose of the negotiations was to attract the support and cooperation of the countries in the region, especially Pakistan, in order to ensure peace and stability in Afghanistan.
