Thousands in Tehran Protest Israel After Nasrallah’s Death

Thousands of people protested Israel in the capital Tehran after Nasrallah’s killing in an attack by the Israeli army in Beirut. The angry crowd gathered in Palestine Square in Tehran and chanted slogans such as “Down with Israel,”  “Down with the US,”  and “Israel will be destroyed,” while their banners said “Red line crossed.”

The attack that killed the Hezbollah leader and also 10 more took place in a Hezbollah headquarters in the Dahiyeh district, south of the Lebanese capital, on September 27.
