Thousands of Pro-Palestinians Protest Israeli Attacks in New York on 1st Anniversary

Thousands of pro-Palestinian demonstrators gathered in New York to mark the first anniversary of Israel’s attacks on Palestine, calling for an immediate ceasefire and an end to US arms support to Israel. The protests, which started on Wall Street and spread across Manhattan, highlighted the human suffering in Gaza, with chants like “Free Palestine, Free Gaza.”

During the demonstration, pro-Palestinian protesters performed mass prayers, despite attempts by pro-Israeli groups to provoke tensions. Protesters also criticized New York Mayor Eric Adams for his pro-Israel stance. The protest, supported by international human rights groups, called for urgent international action to stop Israeli military operations and lift the blockade on Gaza.
