Thousands Rally in New York to Protest ICE

Thousands of demonstrators gathered on Fifth Avenue in New York City to protest the killing of 37-year-old Renee Nicole Good by a United States Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) agent in Minneapolis, part of nationwide rallies against federal immigration enforcement. Protesters marched with banners and chanted slogans such as “ICE out” and “No war, no kings, no ICE,” calling for changes to immigration policy and accountability for Good’s death. The New York Police Department maintained tight security, and the protest ended peacefully. The demonstrations follow similar actions in multiple cities after the fatal shooting sparked widespread public anger.
