A shooting during a high school ice hockey game at the Dennis M Lynch Arena in Pawtucket, Rhode Island, USA, left three people dead, including the suspected gunman, and three others seriously injured. Pawtucket Police Chief Tina Goncalves said the suspect is believed to have taken his own life and that one victim died in hospital.
Authorities said the attack appears to have been targeted, possibly linked to a family dispute, though the investigation is ongoing. Rhode Island Governor Dan McKee said he is in contact with law enforcement and is “praying for all of Pawtucket and everyone affected.”
