three villages evacuated in iran as heavy rain hits several provinces

In the city of Mirab in Iran’s Hormuzgan province, 3 villages were evacuated after heavy rain due to possible flooding. About a thousand people living in the villages of Mazak Bala, Marek Payin and Tenbek were evacuated in case the dam in the region overflows due to precipitation. Mirab governorate reported that the villagers were placed in the industrial center in the region and schools in the surrounding villages.

Nine people were killed in previous floods in the provinces of Fars, Kirman and Sistan-Baluchestan.
