Tight Race Expected in Dutch Elections for Coalition Government

 

Dutch early general elections are underway, with four parties expected to compete closely and form a coalition government post-election. Dilan Yeşilgöz Zegerius, potentially the country’s first female prime minister, leads the VVD party. Geert Wilders of the PVV, known for anti-immigrant and anti-Islam views, also gained attention, advocating for a referendum on leaving the European Union.
