Tons of dead fish have washed up on the shores of the Mar Menor in the Autonomous Region of Murcia in southeastern Spain. According to the examination conducted by the WWF Espana, the pollution caused by agriculture reduces the water quality in the region, which is the main cause of fish deaths. While the investigation launched by the prosecutors into the matter continues, residents of the region protested, demanding that the authorities take action.
