A tornado hit Louisiana, one of the United States’ southern states. Three people were killed as a result of the severe storm that raged from the north to the south of the state, including New Orleans. More than 40,000 people in the state have been left without power. Collin Arnold, the city’s emergency director, reported extensive damage to workplaces and houses.
Severe storms are expected along the Gulf coast, including parts of Louisiana, Mississippi, Alabama, and Florida.
