Tourists Flock To Malta’s Historic Capital Valletta

Malta, one of the world’s smallest countries with just 316 square kilometers, is overwhelmed by tourists arriving on cruise ships and flights. The island’s capital, Valletta, dazzles visitors with centuries-old architecture, Mediterranean charm, and a lively cultural scene.

The Paceville district in St. Julian’s is a hub for nightlife and festivals, while world-class concerts, including performances by André Rieu and other renowned artists, draw global attention. Tourists from Türkiye greeted Rieu during his show in Valletta.

Famous as a natural film set, Malta has hosted productions like Gladiator, Troy, Munich, The Da Vinci Code, Game of Thrones, and Jurassic World. Visitors praise the island’s history, cuisine, and entertainment, calling it a must-see Mediterranean destination.
