Towers Demolished After Power Plant Collapse in South Korea

Two unstable towers at a thermal power plant in Ulsan, South Korea, were demolished with explosives following last week’s deadly collapse of another tower. The demolition was carried out to ensure safety and allow search operations to continue. At least three workers were killed when the 60-meter-tall boiler tower collapsed during dismantling, while four others remain missing and are presumed dead. Around 70 personnel are continuing search efforts with heavy machinery support.
