traces of war displayed in Russian-hit city of Irpin

The Ukraine Emergency Service displayed the city of Irpin, which had been cleared of Russian troops. Many areas have been severely damaged, where people are trying to heal their wounds. “This is how people live in Irpin, which was severely damaged. The Ukrainians will take a long time to heal the wounds left by the Russians. Emergency Service personnel have been assisting animals and people fleeing the terrible war for the past two days,” Ukraine Emergency Service said in a statement.

“I believe 50 soldiers died, 100 soldiers were injured, and nearly 300 civilians died,” Irpin Mayor Alexander Makrushin said, referring to the death toll in the city. “Half the city was destroyed. There are people trapped under rubble waiting to be found,” he added.
