Train Derailment in Russia Injures 50

n the Komi Republic of Russia, nine wagons of a passenger train traveling from Vorkuta to Novorossiysk derailed. Emergency response teams, including search and rescue units and ambulances, were quickly dispatched to the site. The Russian Ministry of Health reported that around 50 passengers sustained injuries, with seven in critical condition.

The Russian Investigative Committee has launched a probe into the derailment. Preliminary findings suggest that heavy rains may have damaged the tracks, leading to the accident.
