A passenger train traveling from Daegu to Jinju struck inspection workers near Cheongdo in North Gyeongsang Province, killing two and injuring five. Korea Railways (KORAIL) said no passengers were hurt among the 89 onboard, but services were suspended. Authorities launched an investigation into the accident.
