In Dublin, the capital of Ireland, a group gathered in front of the Russian Embassy building to protest Russia amid Russian invasion of Ukraine. A truck crashed into the Russian embassy gate during the protests. The Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs has condemned the incident, saying the barbaric incident was ‘violation of its territory’. “The embassy strongly condemns this criminal act of insanity directed against peaceful diplomatic mission. The Embassy views this incident as a clear and blatant violation of the Vienna Convention on Diplomatic relations of 1961,” the embassy posted on a social media in a statement. “The Embassy is in contact with the Department of Foreign Affairs of Ireland, demanding that the Irish authorities take comprehensive measure to ensure the safety of its staff and their family members.”
