US President Donald Trump said both Israel and Iran breached the ceasefire he announced earlier, accusing Israel of launching heavy bombings right after agreeing to the deal.
Speaking before departing for the NATO Summit in The Hague, Trump stated, “I have to calm Israel down… They dropped a load of bombs – the likes which I’ve ever seen before.” He warned on social media, “Israel, don’t drop those bombs. It would be a major violation.”
Trump also said Iran’s nuclear capacity is exhausted and clarified he does not support regime change in Iran. He reaffirmed that the ceasefire remains in effect and called for restraint.
