Trump Says Putin Agreed to Pause Attacks Amid Scorching Cold

Donald Trump said he asked Vladimir Putin not to target Kyiv and other Ukrainian cities for a week during extreme cold weather, adding that Putin agreed. Speaking at a cabinet meeting at the White House, Trump also announced that Venezuela would reopen its airspace to flights, citing improved relations between Washington and Caracas. He said major oil companies have entered Venezuela, calling the move beneficial for both countries. Trump added that he informed Venezuelan Vice President Delcy Rodríguez that US citizens would soon be able to travel safely to Venezuela and ordered airspace reopening by the end of the day.
