Several celebrations were organized around Tunisia over the weekend as part of the March 16 Tunisian National Day for Traditional Clothing, which was heavily inspired by Turkish and Arabic clothing styles.
On Sunday, the Tunisian Association for the Protection of National Heritage staged an event in Tunis’s center to showcase traditional clothings. About a hundred Tunisians dressed in traditional costumes from all across the nation sang and danced on the streets of Tunis.
