Turkey begins delivering domestic Covid-19 vaccine TURCOVAC

Turkish Health Minister Fahrettin Koca announced at the press briefing yesterday that the domestic vaccine TURKOVAC was opened to access. Citizens started receiving the TURKOVAC vaccine in a hospital in Tekirdağ, Turkey following the minister’s statement. “TURKOVAC is the latest generation of live human vaccines produced in Anatolia since the early 1800s. It is a great source of happiness for us. We would like to express our gratitude to the Turkish Scientists who have been working on this since the beginning of the pandemic. Initially 3,750 doses have been delivered to Tekirdağ province. The vaccine has sparked huge interest among citizens.” Hospital chief Dr. İsmail Fehmi Cumalıoğlu said.
