Turkey sends help for fire in Georgia

Turkey sent 3 firefighting aircraft for the forest fire broke out in Samtshe-Cavaheti, Georgia 5 days ago. “Turkish planes will benefit our struggle with fire in Borcomi municipality. The 3 aircraft are being used for the extinguishment since morning. I am thanking Turkish authorities and Georgia consulship for this quick and polite act.” says Temur Mgebrişvili, Emergency Service Head of Georgia.

The fire emerging in Borcomi on August 19 spread Ahaltsihe region this afternoon. Nearly 2000 personnel is working on extinguishing the fire.
