Turkey’s air support for Georgia’s firefighting efforts continues

A forest fire broke out in the Shavnavada forest in Tbilisi, Georgia. The rising smoke could be seen miles away, causing fear and panic among residents. Several fire teams participated in the firefight from land and air. Turkey also sent fireplanes to join the extinguishing efforts.

Further, the forest fire that broke out on August 19 in the Borjomi district of the Samtshe-Jawaheti region of Georgia still could not be extinguished.
