The Astoria Grande cruise ship reached the port of Amasra in the morning with 779 passengers and 420 crew after its first stop in Istanbul. The tourists visited the historical buildings in Amasra with guides. They enjoyed the sea, the beach, historical sights, and tasted various regional foods.
With the investments made, Amasra, which was an important settlement in the Roman, Genoese and Ottoman periods and has been the port and trade center of the region throughout history, is expected to become one of the important stops and routes for cruise tourism in the coming periods.
