The first snow of the season fell in Kartepe district of Kocaeli, Turkey. Aerial footage shows the snow-covered summit of Kartepe. The temperature in Kocaeli city hit 1 degree Celsius at night following the snowfall. The snowy peak of the hill can be viewed from the city center.
The snowfall also affects in cities such as Kayseri, Sivas and Erzurum inner Anatolia.
